Collaros Is A Bomber

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have acquired quarterback Zach Collaros from the Toronto Argonauts according to both Farhan Lalji and Dave Naylor.

TSN reported Wednesday evening that a deal was struck ahead of the 5 p.m. ET trade deadline, and will send Collaros and a fifth round draft pick to Winnipeg in exchange for a conditional third round draft pick.

According to the report, the third round pick would become a first-rounder if Collaros re-signs with the Bombers.

Collaros was acquired by Toronto in July from Saskatchewan in exchange for a conditional fourth round pick. However, he did not play a game for the Argos after being traded.

The 31-year-old is in his eighth CFL season and has over 16,700 passing yards to go with 92 touchdowns in his career. Last season, Collaros’ first with the Riders, he threw for 2,999 yards, nine touchdowns and 13 interceptions, helping Saskatchewan eventually host the Western Semi-Final.

What does it say about your current QB when you have to go out and get someone who hasn't played all season and is getting tossed around from team-to-team because they know he's done.

Wade Miller is grasping at straws!

If MBT goes there, I'm a little concerned.
Collaros will never see the field unless Streveler gets hurt.

Zach is getting passed around more than a hooker at a Shriners Convention.

Just retire already!

I hope Zach and his QB coach Buck Pierce don't run into one another in the hall. They'd both be concussed.
