Fearless NFL Predictions

The NFL returns tonight with the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers playing at Lambeau Field as the Packers celebrate their Super Bowl title with hopes of a repeat. Can they do it? There's nothing saying they can't, but it won't be easy as there are many teams that have a legitimate stake to 'The Vince'(sadly Seattle isn't one of them!!).

Here are your playoff teams and eventual SB winner in a post that I may have to erase by Canadian thanksgiving.

AFC Division winners: Patriots, Ravens, Titans, Chargers
Wild Cards: Texans, Steelers

NFC Division Winners: Eagles, Packers, Falcons, Rams
Wild Cards: Cowboys, Bucs

AFC Championship--Ravens over Chargers
NFC Championship--Packers over Falcons

Super Bowl Winner---Ravens
League MVP--Phillip Rivers (San Diego)

I'd love to see your weekly picks for all 16 games each week.. Mostly to have something to compare to as I make my picks (winner of every game, with confidence ranking from 1 to 16 or whaterver). I understand if you can't do this as you'd be giving an edge to the guys you compete agains.

No love for the Steelers? Why? At some point, you have to let that Super Bowl go.

Either you want to mock me or you have wayyy too much faith in my selections. Either way, I can't see me putting confidence pool picks up. If you want an upset for Week 1 though, take Dallas over the Jets.

I don't know about Dallas, as they went young and cheap on their o-line, which won't help their offense one bit. That said I have no idea who would take over the Cowboys for the final NFC Wildcard spot... The Lions?!?!

I agree with the guy on PIT... I think GB beats PIT in the Superbowl this year. PIT has beaten BAL 6-8 last meetings, including a stunning 14 pt comeback in playoffs last year. PIT holds all intangibles vs Ravens everytime.

the surprise of this season?
Detroit

i think they'll be 10-6 and just miss a wild card spot
