The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today they have added import defensive end Matt Singletary to the team’s practice roster.
Singletary (6’4 – 258) joins the green and white after most recently attending Minnesota Vikings training camp. The 2012 undrafted free agent originally signed with Minnesota following his senior season. After spending the first three years of his college career at Baylor, Singletary transferred to Cal-Poly for his final two seasons. During his 2011 senior season the defensive lineman recorded 11 tackles and earned an invitation to play in the NFLPA Bowl.
Matt is the son of former Chicago Bears linebacker and Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Singletary.
