As one would expect, the Riders are very happy with the new TV deal announced today. I had a chance to speak with Riders president/CEO Jim Hopson about the deal and what it means for the team, the league and the Rider Nation.

I truly feel this deal could mean a CFL one day where there are 10 or 11 teams. The league's profile continues to grow and the money is obviously there. Good interview Mitch.

This saves me from listening to Hopson on the Green Zone. As if I would actually listen to that garbage when I've got Sportscage.
Great opportunity for Saskatoon to start their CFL franchise application. Maritimes, Quebec, big question marks regarding long term viability.
