Mission Accomplished - Red Sox Repeat As WMBL Champs

The Regina Red Sox celebrate at home plate as in the words of play-by-play man Adam Geiger "Mission Repeat is Complete". The Red Sox won the WMBL championship for the second straight season on Wednesday night with a 7-3 win to beat the Medicine Hat Mavericks to take the final series in 4 games. Congrats to Gary Brotzel, Bernie Eiswirth, Justin Eiswirth, Rob Cherepuschak and everyone on and off the field that helped make Red Sox baseball a success this season.

Congrats to the Red Sox! A solid foundation that should produce champions for years to come.

Question for you Mitch: How does a team win a best of 5 in "4 straight"?

Bernie and Gary bring quality young men to this town and Justin gets the most out of them. Its too bad they couldn't get more of the ink in the summer time but when you are competing against the Riders that will happen no matter if they are good or bad. CONGRATS RED SOX!!!
