The football season is not over for Mitch Picton.
After seeing his university eligibility get exhausted earlier this month when his Regina Rams were beaten by UBC in a Canada West semi-final football game, the Saskatchewan Roughriders added him to the practice roster Wednesday morning as the team gets ready for the Eastern final in Toronto.
Picton is coming off a season where he caught 53 passes for 761 yards and eight touchdowns.
He was the Riders 5th round draft pick, 37th overall, in the 2017 CFL draft.
