Graham DeLaet will not be taking part in the last two playoff events to determine the FedEx Cup winner on the PGA Tour.

The Weyburn native finished the Dell Technologies Championship on Monday with a score of seven over 291 leaving him in 76th position in the FedEx Cup standings.  He had to be in the top 70 to advance to the penultimate tournament of the year and then be in the Top 30 after that to play in the Tour Championship.

DeLaet finishes the year having played in 25 events. In those 25 events, he made 17 cuts and had 10 Top 25 finishes and 6 Top 10 finishes including a tie for 7th at the PGA Championship when he battled through severe back pain which continued to bother him at the Dell.

DeLaet took home just over 1.6 million dollars on the season.

Kudos on a fine season on a tough tour...so many terrific golfers. To be able to compete is amazing. Fun to watch.
