We've got Butler. This isn't a big loss.

I guess we know that Craig Butler has a future in green and white. Good to see!

My guess is Patrick was simply making too much coin for the performance we were getting. Good move!

The guy has one bad year and he's set adrift. If that's the case why is Richie Hall still here. I hope this means the end of McKenzie too.

The anti Richie crowd should be set adrift. They've had a bad year too!

Is this really a big surprise? I like Patrick but sometimes you have to make tough choices. I would be a heck of a lot more surprised (more like angered) if they kept him over Butler. Butler just turned 24 in December and Patrick will be turning 31 in the spring. Butler is Canadian and Patrick is an import. I'm more surprised that this move never took place last season. I like Patricks speed but Butler brings agressiveness and more fear over the middle. I think this move was a no-brainer.

Speakin of age, why Is the 3rd string clipboard holder allowed to remain with this club when the gm should be doin his job finding and recruiting a QB for the long term future. Recruit and develope someone with high potential for the benefit of this franchise.
