The Gold Drought Continues

The Canadian juniors will not win gold. Canada lost its first game at the World Juniors as they were beaten 5-1 by the U-S in semi-final play meaning they will play for bronze.

The Americans were the better team in this one as they jumped out into a 4-0 lead which resulted in Malcolm Subban being pulled for Jordan Binnington.

Ty Rattie had the only goal for Canada. They will go for bronze against Russia. The host team was beaten in a shootout by Sweden.
