The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that import running back Stephfon Green and import defensive back Ramzee Robinson have signed with the team. Financial details were not released.

Green (5’9 – 200) returns to the Riders after spending the final two weeks of the season on the teams practice roster. Before coming North, the 23-year-old spent 2012 training camp with the Detroit Lions registering 7 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown in two preseason games.

The Bronx, NY native spent four seasons at Penn State, finishing his collegiate career with 285 rushing attempts for 1,351 yards and 14 touchdowns and added another 457 yards on 40 pass receptions.

Robinson (5’10 – 190) also returns to the Riders after spending time on the teams practice roster during the 2012 season. Previous to that, the 28-year-old spent time with Denver, Cleveland, Washington and Philadelphia throughout his NFL tenure after he was originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 7th round (255th overall) of the 2007 Draft.

The Alabama graduate appeared in 26 NFL regular season games recording 36 tackles, one pass knock down and one fumble recovery.
