The University of Regina Rams will have a strong presence when it comes to the CFL national combine and the western regional combine.

Seven players have been invited to show their stuff at the two events–two to the national one and five to the regional one.  Both will be held during CFL week in Winnipeg later this month.

Invited to the western regional combine are receivers Thomas Huber and Mitch Thompson, linebacker Danny Nesbitt, defensive back Korey Greene and defensive lineman Eric Wicjiowski.

Heading to the national combine are quarterback Noah Picton and running back Atlee Simon.  Picton will be one of two quarterbacks at the event.

The combine will be the last time that CFL scouts, general managers and head coaches can evaluate talent in advance of the CFL draft.  It goes May 3.
