Montreal Canadiens GM Bob Gainey has stepped down from his position. Assistant GM Pierre Gauthier takes over on an interim basis.
BLOGGER NOTE: When the TSN.ca alert came on my cellphone, I thought it said Pierre McGuire and not Pierre Gauthier. Wouldn't that have had a tongues a waggin'.
