The Blue Jays are calling up North Battleford product Andrew Albers in time for their game Friday night against Cleveland.
The 29 year old has been at the team's Triple A affilliate in Buffalo where he has an ERA of just over 3 with 12 strikeouts in 23 innings of work.
He becomes the fifth Canadian to play for the Blue Jays in 2015, joining Dalton Pompey, Russell Martin, Michael Saunders and Jeff Francis.
