Riders head coach Ken Miller says quarterback Ryan Dinwiddie will not be coming to Regina. Speaking to the soggy masses after practice Monday, Miller said there was no interest at this time. He made that comment after praising the quarterbacks that are at camp. Miller says he is at a frame of mind that they are going to go with the quarterbacks that they have and develop them.
Miller was also forced to defend his medical staff because of injuries to Leron Mitchell and David McKoy last season that has not healed. He says the Rider medical team is better than its ever been and that everything is being handled the way it should. He says the situations revolving Mitchell and McKoy have just been very, very unfortunate.
As for Wes Cates, he indicated he is not taking part in all drills right now as he recovers from off-season surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder. While there have been suggestions that Cates won't go in the season opener July 3, the running back says don't count him out just yet.

I'm glad that Miller isn't screwing around with the confidence of the QB's already in camp by bringing someone else in. I'm guessing he was involved in this decision seeing he is doing some of Tillman's work.
Nice Clermont story on Riderville. Why hasn't Vanstone hired you???
