Five Straight W's for Lawton

Stefanie Lawton must be wishing she had the weekend back at the Scotties in Vancouver. After losing her first three games, Team Saskatchewan has rolled off 5 straight wins. That 5th win coming in the afternoon draw as she beat Cheryl Bernard's Alberta foursome by a score of 7-6 in a game that took 11 ends. BC's Marla Mallett leads at 7-1 followed by defending champ Jennifer Jones and her Team Canada rink who are 6-3. Lawton and her Saskatoon foursome are tied for Prince Edward Island and Quebec. Team Saskatchewan will meet New Brunswick in the Wednesday night draw.
