Kunitz Heads To Pittsburgh

The Anaheim Ducks have sent Regina born forward Chris Kunitz to the Pittsburgh Penguins with defenceman Ryan Whitney going the other way. Rumours suggested Oilers forward Erik Cole would be on his way to Pittsburgh soon. I can't see that happening now. With Whitney going to the Ducks, this will only intensify the Chris Pronger being traded by the deadline story.

The Jesse Dudas experiment didn't last long in Regina. The 20 year old defenceman acquired by the Pats at the trade deadline from Swift Current was released by the club this morning. Dudas did play last night in the loss against Calgary. One can only guess something happened after that game that resulted in today's move.
