--Good news for the Riders as they stepped back on the field Tuesday to start getting ready for Saturday's game in Calgary.
The team announced the signing of OL Dakoda Shepley. The 23 year old, who played at UBC, was the 5th overall pick in the 2018 draft, but he elected to try his luck in the NFL with the Jets before coming north of the border.
Whether or not Shepley can play Saturday is another story. With Dariusz Bladek likely done for the season, the arrival could come at a very opportune time.

According to 3down Nation Shepley is on the practice roster and definitely won't play this year.
