--Charleston Hughes was very apologetic as he met with reporters one day after it was revealed he had been charged with driving while impaired. The Riders defensive lineman says he is embarrassed over what has happened and he is now focussing on Saturday's game in Calgary. Head Coach Chris Jones says in no way do they condone what has happened, but they will wait for all the information to come in before taking any action.
--The Pats modest two game win streak came to an end on home ice. Bailey Brkin stopped 35 shots as Spokane beat Regina 4-0 in WHL play.
--The Prince Albert Raiders are ranked as the #1 team in the CHL. The Raiders are a WHL best 11-1 this season.
--Brendan Gallagher's goal with 11 seconds left gave Montreal a 3-2 win over St. Louis in NHL play. The victory was Montreal's first against the Blues since Oct. 20, 2015
--The Dodgers are within a win of the World Series. They beat Milwaukee 5-2 to take a 3-2 lead in the NLCS. Game 6 is in Milwaukee Friday. Boston hung on to beat Houston 8-6 to take Game 4 of the ALCS 8-6. The Red Sox look to advance to the World Series in Game 5 tonight.

So Charleston Hughes is driving drunk Thursday, plays a game Saturday and no one seems to think this is a problem. He's planning to play this week, his coach thinks he's playing and reporters are talking about it like he a victim that needs to overcome this distraction. Hard to find anyone around here that thinks a grown man passed out drunk on the side of the road is a problem.
You gotta be kidding Saskatoon! 2,800 fans last night and you guys have a great team this season. Regina has a horrible team and still drawing 4,500+ a game. I guess those people saying Saskatoon not a hockey city are right.
