WOW!!! This 100th anniversary season for the Canadiens gets to be a bigger and bigger soap opera. With the team sitting 5th in the East and about to play nine of their next 10 at home, Guy Carbonneau has been fired as head coach with GM Bob Gainey stepping behind the bench for the remainder of the season. The Montreal media will have a heyday with this.
