It didn't come from the helmet-to-helmet hit, but Drew Tate is out of this Sunday's CFL Western Final. It was revealed today Tate broke his throwing arm at some point during last Sunday's win over the Riders. Its not known when he sustained the injury.
Meanwhile, Tearrius George will miss the first game of the 2013 season. The Riders defensive end, who is a free agent, has been suspended for a game for that helmet-to-helmet hit that happened in the first half of Calgary's 36-30 win over the Riders.
