Andy Wants To Try The NFL/No Pacman

From the blog of the Globe's Dave Naylor.

It appears the Saskatchewan Roughriders aren't going to get Andy Fantuz signed to an extension before the end of this season.
Fantuz has rejected a contract extension offer from the Riders, not because he doesn't want to play in Saskatchewan. But because he wants to take his shot at the NFL.
It's believed Fantuz, a former Western Mustang, has no desire to play elsewhere in the CFL at this time. But at age 25, the Most Valuable Canadian in the 2007 Grey Cup game would like his shot at earning a much bigger pay day south of the border.
------
Meanwhile the Bombers have done a 180. They now say Pacman Jones will not be joining the football club.

Good luck to Fantuz in the NFL. Didn't JC give it a shot too?

Go to the Dolphins :) I support you... And if it doesn't work, come on back.
