There are many issues to worry about as a Reginan but in reading the front page of the Regina Leader-Post today, it would seem as if some are concerned about the hairstyle of mayor Pat Fiacco. WTF???? Is this really what's disturbing you??? Is this really a point of conversation?? Was it that slow around here this weekend that some schlock like that makes the front page of a newspaper!!!! I love the Leader-Post but really, is that a story??? Apparently it is. That's sad on so many levels! When the look of our mayor is becoming a concern for a certain fraction of Reginans, they should perhaps do something with their life. Maybe Pat should come out one day wearing a mohawk or some other style that teenagers think are "cool" these days. Just walk down the Scarth Street Mall and watch some of the "leaders" of tomorrow walk by and ask yourself what Fiacco would look like with that do. C'mon!!!!

This might be one of the funniest hockey ads I have seen in a while!!!!
I love the bear's extra head fake. Priceless!!!

What handshake is less genuine. The one Bill Belichick gives Eric Mangini or the one Tiger Woods gave Phil Mickleson yesterday both before and after their round at the Masters.

Reed Johnson is one of my favourite baseball players. The guy just plays his ass off whether it be at the plate or in the field. An example as to why I love this guy....
Can someone please explain why the Jays got rid of this guy. I am more than happy to have him wearing a Cubs uniform.

A lot of playoff hockey drafts will be happening over the next couple of nights. Some have maybe already had theirs. The question remains who is the number one pick?? In a regular season draft, Malkin, Crosby or Ovechkin would be a solid bet but are you comfy with taking one of those three as the number one selection overall now? Is Joe Thornton a candidate? How about Marc Savard?? I would probably go with Datsyuk then again I'm not sold on the Wings because of their shaky goaltending. Who would you go with??

If the Vancouver Giants win their 2nd round series with the Spokane Chiefs, I'm guessing SHAW's Dan Russell will be a very happy man. I realize Russell is close to the Giants being in Vancouver and all but he must remember that when doing the play by play of this series, he is doing it throughout Western Canada and not just Vancouver. His love for the Giants in this series has been purely nauseating and I think he may have had to clean his drawers after Evander Kane's OT marker last night. While Vancouver and Kelowna will be a great Western final--as would a Chiefs-Rockets-series, here's hoping the fine folks at SHAW gives us Brandon vs Calgary so Russell can do a game without his boys playing. I have no problem with a play by play guy being a homer when he is catering to his hometown audience. Guys like Rod Pedersen and James Gallo in Moose Jaw and Jon Keen in Swift Current can root, root, root for the home team as much as they want when doing their teams games to the local audience. However when you let that favouritism bleed out when you are catering to a wider audience, it is a little over the top.

Wait until McLeans hears about Fiacco's hair. They will have a heyday with that one. I can only wish I had Pat's hair.
As a Bruin's fan I absolutely loved that commercial. It is also fitting that she is wearing a sucky Hab's jersey.
