Pats Pick Up Drew Englot In Trade with Lethbridge
The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have acquired 17-year-old forward Drew Englot from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2022 WHL Bantam Draft.
Englot (6’3, 181) played with the Notre Dame Hounds in 2018-19, scoring 21 goals and 41 points in 43 games. He added two goals and seven points in 12 playoff games. The product of Candiac, Saskatchewan was also a member of the 2018 SMHL Champion Notre Dame Hounds.
“We are excited to add Drew to our group,” said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock. “We were able to watch a lot of Notre Dame games down the stretch. Drew has a lot of qualities that we value for the Regina Pats and we look forward to him contributing to our team.”
Englot was originally drafted by the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the fourth round of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, 76th overall.
