With the 17th overall pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft the Regina Pats have selected defenceman Layton Feist from Dawson Creek B.C.
“Layton has great offensive instincts from the back end,” said Pats Director of Scouting Dale McMullin. “He is a mobile defenceman with quick feet and he plays the game hard. We are happy to get him where we did in the first round.”
Layton (5’10, 150), played the 2018-19 season with the Omaha North Zone Bantam AA, scoring eight goals and 22 points in 20 games.
In all, the Pats selected 11 players in the draft, six forwards, four defencemen and one goaltender.
